The 4 basics that you need to know in order to choose a
diamond are called the 4 "C's." These are: 1.
Cut - this is the diamond's brilliance. It is how
reflective to light the diamond is.
2. Clarity - the fewer the flaws a diamond has
the better the clarity is said to be.
3. Color - the less color a diamond has the
more sparkle and the more prized.
4. Carat - the weight of the diamond.
